Is this a law firm?

No. Verity Docket is a legal support service operated as a DBA of Trainable LLC. We provide document analysis support for attorneys. All outputs are prepared for your review. Your firm makes all legal judgments.

How do you process my documents?

By default, we process everything locally — on hardware we own and control. No client data is sent to any cloud service or third-party AI tool for processing unless you specifically authorize it in writing for a given matter.

Yes. We use AI tools to help extract, organize, and cross-reference information from your documents. Every output is human-reviewed and source-cited before delivery. AI assists the process — it does not replace your judgment or our quality checks.

Do you use my data to train AI models?

No. We do not use your data to train, fine-tune, or improve any AI model — ours or anyone else's.

How long do you keep my files?

We delete all matter files from active local storage within 21 days after final delivery. We exclude matter folders from automated cloud backup and sync services. You can request earlier deletion at any time.

What does "local processing" mean?

Your documents are parsed, analyzed, and assembled into deliverables on our own devices. Files are stored in encrypted local folders. Nothing leaves our local environment for processing purposes.

Can you use cloud-based AI tools if I need faster turnaround?

Only with your explicit written authorization for the specific matter. We call this a Client-Authorized Cloud Exception. When you authorize it, we use cloud AI services that meet our internal provider selection criteria — including published commitments that your data will not be used to train AI models and will be deleted after processing. We never use free-tier or consumer AI tools for client work.

What if I don't choose a processing option on the intake form?

Local Processing applies by default. You get the most restrictive option without doing anything.

Can I change the processing mode after a matter starts?

Accepted Answer

Yes. If you want to restrict from cloud-authorized to local-only, the change takes effect going forward — it does not undo processing already completed under the prior authorization. If you want to add a cloud exception to a local-only matter, we need your written authorization before proceeding.

What formats do you accept?
